Applicant;
Thank you for your interest in the scholarship sponsored by Seoul National University Alumni Association in Chicago Area (SNUAA-Chicago).
Awarding of scholarships has been one of the most meaningful activities that our organization has undertaken for many years. We have awarded over 140 scholarships since 1985. I encourage you to take full advantage of this special program to support your higher education.
Selection of qualified recipients is done by the Scholarship Committee in an unbiased manner. To be considered for scholarship, applicants must be of Korean descent and have resided in the Chicago area. Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Completed Scholarship Application Form (www.snuaachicago.org)
- Original transcripts
- Two sealed letters of recommendation, one must be from an active member of the SNUAA-Chicago
- A short essay of no more than two pages double spaced, describing your reasons for applying and your future aspiration
